We made it OBX in record time yesterday. We ran right out to the beach (which is less than 200 ft from our room) and just stood there for awhile!
It is amazing here! The water is so clear compaired to the bay, its kinda crazy. We spent the evening with our friends that are staying here as well, we walked on the beach and saw fireworks from the pier and it was perfect!
Turns out I’m really good at doing beer bongs Haha. I had never done on before last night. However we just kept drinking and drinking and I was so so so sick today. I literally haven’t left our bed all day. I was finally able to hold down a cup of soup around 6 and DJ is out getting me some chicken and mashed potatoes now. He is so great to me! I kinda feel bad that we didn’t get to do any of the things we wanted to do, but we still have all day tomorrow and then Saturday when we leave!
We are definitely going to be making this a tradition to come down here every year. It’s absolutely fantastic, the dining is top notch and the people are so nice! I really don’t want to leave
